Been out in the garden today doing some stuff to get fresh air through my brain before the task of more editing this afternoon.
As I was tying over the wilting Daffodils I thought back to the time when Anne my first wife had me go out and peg the washing dressed as the maid.
Now I was used to going out dressed prior to this but not in the close we lived in and it was one of them places that the net curtains twitched like a frenzy with nebby noses and I swear the new was around the close before I stepped back in doors.
Of course overtime Everyone knew I was the maid and that Anne was seeing boyfriends and my humiliation was sweet and complete.
